Nicholas (he/him) aims to create a session for the individual with education and practice rooted in myofascial, neuromuscular, and craniosacral bodywork.
In all cases, Nicholas honors the Central Nervous System as the gatekeeper and seeks to provide a relaxing therapeutic treatment. He has experience working with athletes and also treats clients with all backgrounds and activity levels. Nicholas embraces meeting the client where they are when they come through the door.
A session may involve some participatory movement in order to address deep restriction and adhesion more effectively and increase our proprioceptive and interoceptive awareness. These techniques can be helpful in times of pain or stress when we may consciously or unconsciously try to dissociate our mind-body connection.
Nicholas is pursuing second level certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques from Til Luchau's Advanced Trainings. He has certifications and education in treating TMJ disorders, migraines, arthritis, carpal tunnel and whiplash.
Nicholas is a proud husband and cat Dad and has been a proud Portlander since 2009 .
